Breaking: Foie Gras Donut Responses
from do or dine, right? they’re available ANY DAY YOU WANT THEM, a short walk or shorter bike ride from prospect palace.
I debated it throughout the afternoon today, but couldn’t bring myself to do it.
Yep, they were from Do or Dine in Brooklyn (of course) for 11 AMERICAN DOLLARS. That is one damned expensive confection. I actually split it with my friend, and it was still almost too rich to finish. My verdict? Worth trying as a life experience, but I wouldn’t do it on the regular. And not just because I don’t want to resemble Jabba the Hut in a swimsuit this summer; it was too much savory and not enough sweet. If they swapped out half the foie gras (thereby lowering the the price too maybe?) and added 50% strawberry preserves in the mix, I’d like it more.
